What or where was your favorite race,mine was the 2011 gumball,until the 2012 race.Been going to speedway since 1970 and the top 3 are
1)-Gumball 2012
2)-Gumball 2011
3)-Perris (December)2011
A close 3rd was USA vs The World at C.M. back in the early to mid 70s

My favorite race was the first race I attended. 1971 at Cost Mesa. It was a fund raiser for a school pool to be built. It was a Saturday day race. Absolutely the most exciting thing I'd ever witnessed. The who's who of Speedway were there. Larry Huffman on top of the table announcing, The Bast Bros, The Woods Bros, The Haserot Bros, Big Mike Konle, Wild Bill Cody, and many more. I was hooked and still believe Speedway is the greatest spectator sport going.

My favorite was the 2012 Gumball.it was the first time i ever saw Hancock ride AND i got to ride the same track as the current world champ. Doesnt get much better than that. |

1985 World Team Cup best by far!!! Even the Danes agreed it was the best track, racing and atmosphere ever! |

That was at Veterans stadium in Long Beach? I was there...it was amazing!!!

Yes it was held in Long Beach, I remember a huge tailgate BBQ underneath the scoreboard in the parking lot before the races. Killer Italian sausage sandwiches. Cheers Scrapperjohn |
